Copper-ore decoratives, Sonoran Sunrise
Edition
One of one

A finished piece featuring Sonoran Sunrise, the copper-ore stone known for its warm blend of red, orange, and green tones that read like a desert sky at dusk. The color shifts across the surface in natural bands, each shade a result of the copper minerals present in the rough. Made in the studio and ready to wear.

Chrysocolla and cuprite in the same stone, blue green running into red. This is the largest work we have put on the site, and the silver around it is built to match the stone rather than to frame it quietly. 7.3 cm diam$950 / pieceOne of one View piece Reversible pendant, Sonoran Sunrise and Willow Creek Reversible pendant, Sonoran Sunrise and Willow CreekCopper-ore decoratives, Sourced from Sonora, Mexico and Eagle, IdahoOne pendant, two faces: Sonoran Sunrise on one side and Willow Creek jasper on the other. The natural color shift across the face runs from warm reds into cool greens, the kind of contrast that comes from the ore itself rather than anything added to it.
