A ginkgo leaf pendant set with Kingman turquoise from the Mineral Park district here in Arizona. The fan-shaped leaf splits into two lobes, a form long associated with balance and endurance. Ginkgo trees have survived for thousands of years, and several lived through the 1945 blast at Hiroshima, which is why the leaf carries meaning as a symbol of resilience and renewal.
